Presentations at TRB Annual Meeting and ‘Comparing Apples and Oranges’ Colloquium

During the last week I presented our research at the Transportation Research Board’s Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. A lectern presentation was related to a studio class project on economic benefits of Capital Bikeshare:

Finally, I participated via internet in a colloquium at the University of Stuttgart in Germany. The colloquium was titled “Comparing Apples and Oranges: international comparative urban research.” My presentation was titled “Lessons from 10 Years of Comparative Research in Transport Policy and Travel Behavior in North America and Western Europe.”
