Presentation at US Department of Transportation “Experts In Transit Speaker Series”

This week the Federal Transit Administration invited me to present at their “Experts In Transit Speaker Series“. I gave my talk in the USDOT conference center in Washington, DC , and the presentation was also broadcast by Adobe Connect to FTA locations nationwide. The session was titled “Comparative transportation policy on an international level,” and presented research from two published papers and an ongoing research project on regional coordination of public transportation. Here are links to the papers:

Buehler, R., Pucher, J. 2012. “Demand for Public Transport in Germany and the USA: An Analysis of Rider Characteristics,” Transport Reviews, Vol. 32, No. 5, pp. 541-567.
