In the last three weeks I gave three presentations. A webinar for Bike Virginia and a public presentation for CyCity (go to minute 40:00) in Sweden compared cycling trends and policies in Western European countries, Canada, and the USA. In Stockholm and Virginia, policy makers who want to increase cycling levels face similar challenges, albeit starting at very different cycling levels. The remote access presentation at the Urban Transportation Pathways Conference University of California at Berkeley explored travel behavior, transport policy, sustainability and potential transport policy lessons from Germany for developing countries.
