Studying CO2 Emissions from Transport: Visiting Fellow at American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS)

This summer I am a Visiting Fellow at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS) at Johns Hopkins University. My research here at AICGS compares CO2 emissions from daily travel in Germany and the USA. The three goals of this research are (1) to provide a comparison of trends in CO2 emissions from passenger transportation in Germany and the United States; (2) to identify individual and household level determinants of CO2 emissions from transportation; and (3) to provide policy recommendations on how to best reduce CO2 emissions from daily travel.
